Guest Researcher
Are you looking to strengthen your research profile?
Apply to be a Guest Researcher at ICM Research Institute.
The topic is digital transition: how it relates to your own research field. If you work in advanced materials for energy, hydrogen, semiconductors, sustainability, or any other field, the question is the same: what does the digital transition mean for your topic?
The programme has two steps.
First, you make a forum presentation on your research topic. This is a public presentation in one of our existing forum series, announced to our network. It gives you visibility and gives us a direct view of your work, how you communicate it, and how you interact with forum participants during the Q&A.
Second, over three to four months, you develop your thinking on the digital transition aspect of your topic. You then present this at a second forum session, which may be internal or public.
To support your development during this period, other guest researchers will join your first forum presentation, and we will have group meetings where you receive feedback from us and from the group.
All activities are online.
Upon completion of both presentations, you receive a certificate as Guest Researcher at ICM Research Institute, with the title reflecting your specific topic — for example, Guest Researcher, ICM Research Institute, Alminica AB, Sweden — Digital Transition in Crystal Growth of SiC.
There is no fee. Researchers who complete the programme become part of our network. Where relevant, we can recommend you to our network and on request share our experience working with you.
