The important aspect is how you define and develop it within your own research context, and especially how it can contribute to exploitation pathways and realistic impact motivations.

You will learn about the essentials in data-driven value creation (based on content in the data-driven value creation training). You will do two expert webinars (online). First on your research topic. Next you will develop the data-driven value creation concept either fully online (guest researcher) or based on a physical visit (visiting researcher). The activity includes how your research contributes to sustainability through data-driven value creation since sustainability is a key dimension of the societal impact of your research outcomes. Second expert webinar is on data-driven value creation for the digital transition in [your research topic]. The presentation should position how the digital transition is relevant in your research, and highlight the exploitation pathways and realistic impact motivations together with a sustainability vision.

Guest Researcher:
Online, three months. Two expert webinars. Expert webinar in research topic at beginning of period. Biweekly meetings and develop data-driven value creation for the digital transition in your research topic. Expert webinar on data-driven value creation in your research topic at end of the period.

Visiting Researcher:
Blended, two expert webinars online. Expert webinar in research topic before visit. Three in-person sessions during one week visit for case development. The sessions are held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9-12 AM. That allows time to develop your case in between sessions, and to experience the local area and culture. Expert webinar on data-driven value creation in your research topic after visit.
